A friend posted something on facebook, and the words really gave me a (smack/punch/kick/any other violent adjectives) towards myself. Well it got me thinking again. About how things happened and everything always happened for a reason.
Anyways a constant reminder to self, one of the pillars of faith in God is to believe in the qadha and qadhar. Eventhough you have done your very best, its up to Him to decide whether that particular thing/event happens. This does not mean that you should just give up eventhough no amount of effort was put into something/someone. If it happens, it happens and vice versa, simple as that.
I guess the path that i should and will be taking is somewhat clear for now. Hopefully i have the strength to go on. Insyallah.
Oh, and the exact words that the friend posted are;
" If a man can't commit to Allah swt, what makes you think he can commit to you?"
